The Domeniile Dealu Mare collection celebrates freshness, vibrancy and the diversity of flavours found in wines from Romania’s Dealu Mare wine region. These are young wines, made without additional barrel ageing, allowing their natural fruit character and freshness to take centre stage. Our task was to translate these qualities into a visual identity that feels lively, expressive and immediately recognisable on the shelf.
The design centres on stylised landscapes that capture the rich natural palette of the region. Sunlit hills, open fields and wildflowers come together in vivid compositions, each reflecting the individual mood of a wine. The illustrations unite the collection through a shared concept while preserving the character of each variety. A restrained label structure allows the colours and landscape details to remain in focus. Rather than communicating freshness and fruitiness literally, the design evokes them through associations with nature, light and the richness of the surrounding landscape.
