For this project, Castel Mimi introduced Diva, a premium sparkling wine collection inspired by iconic female figures whose elegance, confidence and individuality have shaped cultural history. The concept positions the wine not only as a beverage, but as a refined gift - a gesture meant to be presented, admired and remembered. Because the product is primarily sold in a gift format, the packaging itself becomes the main storyteller, carrying the emotional weight of the brand. The challenge was to create a design that communicates sophistication and femininity while remaining contemporary and visually striking on the shelf.
The solution centers on the gift box as the primary visual canvas. Each box features an elegant illustration inspired by legendary women such as Coco Chanel, Audrey Hepburn and Jackie Kennedy, translating their timeless style into a modern graphic language. Soft color palettes and expressive line work give each edition its own personality, while maintaining cohesion across the collection. In contrast, the bottle design is intentionally minimal - a restrained label that allows the packaging to take the leading role while preserving a sense of balance and refinement. Together, the elements create a harmonious object designed not only to contain sparkling wine, but to elevate the act of gifting itself.
