The Bernardazzi collection is a new ultra-premium line by renowned Moldovan winemaker Andrey Novak. Inspired by the works of architect Alessandro Bernardazzi - the creator of Chișinău’s late 19th-century identity - this project bridges classical aesthetics and modern craftsmanship. The challenge was to create a visual language that expresses quiet luxury, cultural continuity, and precision, without resorting to excess or ornamentation.
The visual foundation draws from architectural blueprints and the refined detail of historical engravings. The design captures the elegance of proportion and structure, balancing restraint with tactile sophistication. Each of the three wine types - red, white, and sparkling - speaks its own visual dialect, yet remains unified through tone, typography, and formю Textural contrasts, embossed details, and soft paper grain elevate the sensory experience, reflecting the handcrafted nature of the wines themselves. Just like Bernardazzi’s architecture, the label design embodies harmony and discipline - a dialogue between time, taste, and artistry.
