Câmpia Moldovei is a new collection of semi-dry and semi-sweet wines by the renowned Moldovan producer Salcuța, destined for the export market. And since the product would be presented to an audience, which isn’t familiar with Moldova all too well, the main goal while developing the visual concept for the new wines was to create an image emphasizing the origin of the drink. We had to clearly depict the gracious sun-soaked southern land where Câmpia Moldovei wines come from.
While developing the label design for Câmpia Moldovei we were guided, first of all, by the necessity of reflecting the easy character of this product. That is why the main graphic element of the composition is a stylized illustration of an idyllic wineyard, with distinctive buildings and rows of vines. The very manner, in which the picture is executed, in combination with a soft color palette, emphasizes the airy character of these wines. The custom label cut shape enhances the scenery and adds new elements to it, amplifying the sensation of volume and perspective. The informative blocks support the illustration with a solid color, adding a finishing touch to the overall composition.
