The storylines are intertwined when the Gray gets into the sheep. He quickly earns credibility. The only one who doesn't trust the newly–minted ram is the leader's advisor.
Gray saves the lambs from being killed by wolves, tries to bring a sheep in love with Lyra with the object of his affection. However, when the truth comes true, the wolf in sheep's clothing has to leave.
Then a war unfolds between wolves and sheep. Gray has found a way to help his new friends defeat the predators. Bianca, having found out what happened to her beloved, found the cunning Mamie and forced her to return everything as it was. Gray's enemy, Bezukhy, is killed in the struggle for power.
